About Ella
Ella Louise Khan is an LA-based 2D animator and story artist with a passion for bringing laughter, magic, and whimsy from the imagination to the big screen. She enjoys working in teams to develop solutions and transforming good ideas into fully realized concepts, ensuring that they come to life in a meaningful way.
She graduated with distinction from Art Center College of Design, earning a Bachelors Degree in Entertainment Design and a minor in Creative Writing.
She then went on to become a 2D Animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios, training under Disney legends such as Eric Goldberg and Mark Henn. She worked on numerous projects for the 2D Legacy Department, including Disney’s 100th anniversary film Once Upon a Studio, animating well-known and beloved classic Disney characters.
She is also an experienced concept artist, working on putting together various pitches for Warner Brothers Animation by coming up with key story beats and rendering them in full color.
She carries her childhood passion for creating meaningful stories throughout her career and is always looking for opportunities to make emotional connections with audiences of all walks of life. She believes the arts are a conduit of our innermost desires and conflicts and must be celebrated at any given opportunity.
